Rebuilt a slow, hand-coded Bootstrap/jQuery site into a fast, data-driven Next.js platform for live tech debates.

The problem

The original site was a tangle of HTML files, jQuery and Bootstrap v4. Every new event meant copy-pasting pages, and the bloated front end dragged down load times and search rankings.

What I built

• ✓Full rewrite on the Next.js App Router with TypeScript and Tailwind
• ✓One data file powers every event, and each event page is generated automatically
• ✓Performance-first rebuild that scores 95+ on Google Lighthouse
• ✓Sitemap generation and SEO metadata on every page
